POLICY

 ELECTIONS

The election of officers, Board of Directors, and Nominating Committee is at the annual business meeting.

Voting is by ballot.  Plurality elects and in case of a tie, choice is by lot.

Absentee ballots will be accepted provided the ballot is in a sealed envelope that is marked “ballot”, and is placed within an outer envelope that bears the member’s name.  This outer envelope is given to the secretary (vs President-elect) to verify eligibility of the voter.  Membership status is approved by the National Credentials Committee.  The Tellers Committee shall then have the envelope marked “ballot”.

The opportunity shall be given to members to make nominations from the floor at the annual meeting.
