POLICY: President-elect
PURPOSE: To prepare to serve as President and provide continuity in chapter leadership.
Elected for a one year term.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Is an aide to the President
2. Observes and assists the President in preparation for assuming the duties and responsibilities of that office.
3. Represents the President and the chapter as requested or required.
4. Acts as a member of the Board of Directors with full power and responsibilities.
5. Serves as an ex-officio on program and membership committees, with no power to vote.
6. In the absence of the Secretary, assumes those duties.
7. In the absence of the Treasurer, assumes those duties.
8. Maintains the Congress delegate point system.
9. Receives and verifies all absentee ballots, then passes them on to the chair of the Tellers committee.
10. May serve as chairman of a committee.
11. Must attend 2/3 of the Board meetings and 2/3 of the chapter meetings (7).
12. Prepares an annual written report and presents it at the annual meeting.
