Dody Volcik

Austin Area AORN's Perioperative Nurse of the Year
2007-2008

 

Two long time outstanding Austin Area perioperative nurses were nominated by their peers to be named as PeriOperative Nurse of the Year.   

This year’s recipient, Dody Volcik, RN, BSN, CNOR, RN-BC, was recognized at the November chapter meeting.  Dody is the current chapter President and is the Seton Network Nursing and Surgical Services education coordinator.

THANKS FOR THE HONOR

I am truly honored to be named the Austin Area AORN Perioperative Nurse of the Year.  I am humbled by all those who have received this award before me.  The granite plaque is beautiful and truly will last a lifetime.  Thank you for this very special honor.
