POLICY:            BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

PURPOSE:        Establish monetary objectives and limitations for the financial operation of the chapter and monitors all            accounts.

DEFINITION:        Is a standing committee.  Is Chaired by the Treasurer.

NUMBER OF MEMBERS:            Consists of the

  • Treasurer

  • The President

  • One Board Member

  • One General Member

LENGTH OF APPOINTMENT:      One Year

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project the expenditures for the fiscal year.

  2. Prepare a projected  budget to be presented for approval by the Board.

  3. Prepare and submit a recommendation to the Board about annual expense for Delegate/Alternate Delegate/First Time Congress Attendee.

  4. Review ledgers and prepare them for audit at close of the fiscal year.

  5. Submit an annual written report stating committee purpose, goals, accomplishments and recommendations two (2) weeks prior to the annual meeting.
